It can be. I have had those days where it just seems to take forever. But I have over 200 hours played in both barents sea and north Atlantic and it doesn't seem quite as often in north atlantic.

They're still seasons in the game so you have to keep changing what you're doing. This is the biggest trawler but when the season is up for those fish you have to switch out for like a crab boat or lobster boat. There's no one boat that can do everything. The Hermes is a great boat for deepwater fishing but if the fish are in water that's less than 200m deep I have to use a different boat because the Hermes can only set it's net in water that's 200m deep or more. But if it's tuna or swordfish season you need a totally different boat again because they can only be caught with a harpoon or deep line buoys. So the boat you use and the fish you catch changes depending on what time of year it is.

No. No mods here. I have a pretty high-end computer though with a top-of-the-line graphics processor so all the video settings in my games are set to their highest settings. Maybe that's why.

You have to go back to port and select the "repair gear" option. For a hefty fee.

It's going to because the ocean moves and waves sometimes offer greater resistance and sometimes less. The best thing to do is set the cruise around 1 to one and a half knots above minimum trawl speed and it will stay in an acceptable range.

Here's the thing about bugs. They get fixed. This video is 9 months old. I haven't experienced any of the bugs from this video since. And I still enjoy the game despite the bugs. But hey, thanks for the view.
