i see white pvc poles all over Galveston Bay areas and I always wonder what the heck they mean! haha “newer” to salt water fishing… that is to say… been doing it my whole life but really mediocrely and occasionally. Recently decided I needa be learning more! Love videos like this that actually explain stuff like this.

Do you ever catch some larger red on the tide line , 1/2 mile off the beach ? What bait do you like too use? Love to see the video on that . Oyster bed fishing is not easy and lose a lot of rigs if you don’t know the bottom well. Yes you have to put the time in .

How do you prevent your lure from getting hung up? Do you fish them with weedless hooks?

Yes you do get hung up, but with some practice you will have the ability to feel when you are getting hung and not pull hard to get it stuck. It is the nature of the best, but it is well worth it when the fish are on the beds or reefs!!
