Its worth mentioning that bread is very digestible in winter. Carp don't want loads of food, but they will eat bread all day long. Great video as always from this crew.

Will the stack of bread punch discs float up by itself, or does the plastic bait stop help it float? excuse the dumb question, just curious:-)

I tried fishing this same rig and kept getting the hooklength tangled around the mainline, any tips for stopping that? I was fishing about a 2ft hooklength of Guru N-Guage.

If you put a silicone sleeve around the lead clip that should stop a lot of this .

Could we put the punched bread on the hook and work the same?

Hi Tony, Punched bread is perfectly fine, make sure all the air is squeezed out to ensure the bread sinks. Regards Steve
