I have never played Everquest and I do not understand a single thing that is going on in this video but I love it and I appreciate your enthusiasm for this game.

There was a dope feature now long gone (besides the message boards :( ) where you could actually play monsters; you'd log in as a random one in the game from the character select screen. You could level and had an inventory; it was surprisingly simple and robust. And dope for sneaking up on meditaters because you nearly can't miss them (and I'm pretty sure they got rid of it because people just targeted AFKs). Over the course of trying it over and over, to name a few, I had been a rat in Paineel (and gained 3 levels before perishing, but not before looting+using a rusty 2hander and skilling up lol), a hill giant (easiest to level with, also dropped a ton of money on my demise lol) and most interestingly to me a cazic tae ew sentinel -- because finally the NPCs buffing each other included me, and so did the social aggro.

Discovered these videos during quarantine and still binge them. Waiting for more 🎉

longloong ago i pettitioned a gm because i couldnt exit the water anywhere also. the gm left because he wasnt sure why either. a few minutes later, i realised i was ducking also. they sure didnt tell you about that hidden nerf in the manual. what ever keyboard button was duck in 1999, i accidently presssed it. first person view can be a bitch sometimes.

When I played on p99 red I got really into fishing on my barb sham. I would go to Odus and kill this NpC that had a special fishing pole. I think fishing is the worst trade skill in eq lol.
