Hey hey! You never know when you might be confronted by a bear or a Cougar also, but in cases like that it is the "noise" I would have to rely on since such a weapon would be pretty ineffective against those guys.

I do the same thing here in Colorado. I do alot of night fishing, so it always feels better knowing I'm protected.

Yeah I ran into a huge black bear while fishing one time it scared the hell out of me totally would bring a gun on that trail

Thanks for this. I’m from Maryland, and i’ve been in a couple scenarios where a firearm would’ve ensured my safety 100% but our laws don’t allow us to do so. Take care!

I fished for the first time a few years ago and caught an old shoe and then got my line stuck on a rock so it ended pretty quickly. It was also pretty bad weather so had no clue what I was doing but was quality bonding with my grand dad.

Michael Soothing ASMR yes haha me and my stepdad always tease around with my mom about her accent and we get a laugh out of it but from when I was younger she has gotten a lot better and it’s easier for people to understand her now 😂

It's 2016, getting on in years now, hey hey. I love the manual shift mode in it, use that almost exclusively most of the time except on long flat highway drives.

.22? seems like an odd choice for self protection.

Yes, it is not my "normal" self protection carry firearm, which is a 9mm, it's just a back up fishing bag lightweight firearm. Also, note that high velocity cci hollow point 22 rounds are often more lethal then larger calibers , even though they have less "knock down" power. Many reasons for this, number of rounds per magazine, high accuracy (low recoil), and some other reasons I can't mention here.
