With winter in the rearview mirror, the flats fishing of Laguna Madre has started to heat up. On this particular day, we are fishing by sight as the GPS decided to fail which only added to the excitement when we found the fish. The lure of choice was a pink and chartreuse paddle tail soft plastic which got the attention of the speckled trout and redfish.
