Hiking in there with a tube in 2.5 hours was pretty good. That is how long it took me to hike in there. Plus you did it in waders. Well done! Thanks for the mention and great to finally meet you. Can't wait to get on a trip with you one of these times. You were just bumping into everyone on this trip. Crazy coincidental things happen sometimes. Too bad about your pole. No problem for you. Nice job on your lunkers that you landed. Great trip! Have a wonderful day.

I packed a float tube into Island Lake once. Didn't catch a thing. Good hike though, and very pretty up there.

Brooks and Tigers = a great day. Some nice quality fish for the Uintas. Some good folks to meet on the trail. Best line "What are you a strawberry cutt?" LOL

It's a small world even in the Uintah's! It's crazy to see how many dead Pines there are now. I am guessing it is from Pine Bark beetles? I really Liked the tigers at the second lake. super pretty!

@baitnbullets Yep. Those beetles have decimated a lot of forest. Oh well. It'll eecover.
