Mississippi an Louisiana they don’t stock or take care of there waters like they should. There is some good fishing but really gotta search for those places. There is good lookin places around this way but it’s just abusedI can assure you there is much better fishing elsewhere. Lol. Try the creeks an rivers you will do better than you would on the big waters

Those campus lakes at LSU were my old stomping ground for 10 years. I agree the bass fishing isn't great but believe it or not a state record largemouth came out of one of them. I love them for panfishing though. My buddy and I decided to take a whole day and see how many we could catch on artificials. We caught 600 out of one pond and 200 out of another. Most fish I ever caught in one day. 4 species as I remember. There is also a giant sewer pipe running across one of the lakes supposedly and I guess that's what you found. Interesting video.

Thats 800 fish in lets say 12 hours. That is a fish every 54 seconds. Thats insane.
@bravohuey
@bravohuey Жыл бұрын
@@Christian-ml9sx , There were two of us so that helped. However, if we went more than a minute without a bite it was a major lull in the action! Trust me, I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't been there, It was just one of those days where the Bluegill were hot on the bed and every other panfish in the lake was hungry.

I fish cities mostly too. I like to hang around with strange people and having a fishing pole in my hand seems to make people want to talk. If I didn't have a fishing pole asking questions I'd just be another tourist to ignore. Sometimes I just give away a bunch of tackle to kids because I have the money now and maybe they don't.
