Ive found bacon grease to work great in baits. Both the homemade catfish dough baits, and lobster/crab nets. It melts so easy in water and carries the scent/taste of everything else far and wide.

@greg774 mix it with the wet/scent parts. Go light on grease with dough baits so it dosen't just dissolve. For crab/lobster I use the tube method. Basic base is a foul makeral, a fresh makeral, a couple sardines or anchovies, bacon grease, and uncooked chicken scraps. I'll add any additional spices or liquids to that based on recipe I'm following. For baskets it's just blended meats and grease frozen in a pcv tube with holes covered in saran to freeze, and removable cap on one end to fill.

We were looking for this video continuing what was going on. BUT. This was a big advertising marketing moment. We just had the eclipse, most people want to see how fish reacted during the eclipse. LFG had a video, but he was the only one. If y'all had put a video together with the squad with clips based on state/location, it would have blown up for information and views...also product sales based on what each member was throwing. Love your products and can't wait to get back out to the water now that its warming up a little.

So I gotta say man.. I been a subscriber for a LONG time. To some long before "googan squad" began. But the ideas and videos lately have been lacking. And the P.R. team has to be new or something because buying nice meat to go waste on sport fishing? And then just laugh about it? I get that certain challenges and stuff exist but it come to a point where it's not some viral challenge and y'all are just repeating the same content in a new location or with different people.. I say this as a fan. I really enjoy the googan squad but y'all need some new idea guys or something. Wasting food in a time where certain places have the highest prices of meat and gas and just overall cost of living going up is never a good move. There's so many third, fourth and fifth party things to consider I get it's difficult but Ive got a literal book of ideas from watching everyone I do on KZfaq whether it's y'all, or gamers, or biologist or random dudes with aquariums, paludariums and vivariums. Anyway. Just giving honesty as feedback. The idea for this video isn't horrible but the execution was bad and looks like the viewers agreed..
