Sport Fish Panama Lodge is proud to be partnered with Yo-Zuri....manufacturer of the highest quality Japanese fishing lures, line, and leaders that we use everyday with our clients here at the lodge.
This short video features highlights from the fishing....including some EPIC footage of Yellowfin Tuna boils offshore....and of the lodge from their trip here in April of 2019. Watch as Yo-Zuri's, Chris Bishop and master videographer, Tyler Freeman, as they spend a week fishing for trophy Tuna, Dorado, and Roosterfish, all while throwing Yo-Zuri hard baits and using Yo-Zuri line and leader.

I must be turning into a Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge groupie........since I've watched this sensational video 4 times. Boy, does it ever bring back wonderful memories. I've actually fished with you more times than I've watched the video.......and I'll be back, Shane!!

Thanks so much for the props Rob! And we have made some big improvements since the last time you were here. Wait till you see the expansion and upgrades we have made at the lodge, our new boats, and new equipment. Things just keep getting better! Looking forward to fishing with you again soon!

We were there Mid-May. The tuna fishery has been like this for the past few months it looks like.

We release all Roosterfish, Cubera Snappers, Marlin, and Sailfish. We have done some tagging in the past but recently have not had any real initiative to tag fish before releasing them.
