@@andywoodscichlids2942 I've been very interested in the idea of catching cichlids but I have yet to find places close to me that have native cichlids. I live in Mexico City and the only place with wild fish is Xochimilco and all they have is tilapia and other invasive species. If I go to Puerto Vallarta at the end of this year I'll take some underwater footage of wild Mayaheros Beani and other species.

*Andy you gotta give yourself more credit!! First, stop thinking videos can be too long. If someone feels like that, they can just stop watching. I bet zero subscribers get bored with your videos. Secondly, there are thousands of people who have your passion for the hobby but don't have the space or means to have what you have. I'd kill to have your home and shed set up and that many tanks. I have 9 tanks but I live in an apartment. My biggest are only 125 and 150 gallons. Just give yourself more credit dude. Love your channel and fish.*

I'm thinking of getting a 75 gallon (maybe a little larger), and I'm thinking of having one or two larger American cichlids, maybe with a few smaller varieties of plecostomus. What species of cichlid do you think would do well in a tank that size? Some of the species I'm considering are: flowerhorn, umbee, texas, festae, oscar, trimac, or green terrors to name a few.

My male Jag is more of a black panther when not in spawning mode , he gets so dark you can only just see the patternation , i really need to get my arse in to gear and get my fish room sorted but im torn what to do with the floor at the moment but i cant wait to expand my cichlid collection
