In Awe (and envious) of your skills. All hail the professional. I'm very glad we do not need all the checks on electrical work apart from installing the fuse box and high voltage which just has to be installed by a professional. Also, living in an old house I also love the 10 feet ceiling.

All work can be performed by the homeowner if they choose to do so. The permit is cheap and it is another pair of eyes that can look over your work to keep you safe. (I will be swapping out the mains panel and that will need to be inspected whether I like it or not)

Awesome progress, ever played with the idea of extending the vertical track of the garage door to have it closer to ceiling?

I have seen some and played with some newer models that are more "out of the way". They certainly are interesting, they cost a lot more and I am not interested in that particular feature at this time lol!
