In this video. Here we are fishing for trout at the Little Red River, not too far from Heber Springs Arkansas. The snow is still here, but we catch a few. I use some power bait and some Gamakatsu octopus hooks. It is a cold day but we had fun. Hope you enjoy.

You purposely film the information sign at the park that says "Bait use prohibited," and then use "Powerbait." Shameful!

No sir! you have to go past the sign or up the creek for rules on the sign. If you look across the river you'll see another sign. it's for boats so to know where the line is.

Thanks for the shout out, looks like a nice spot when the waters low. The gamas are nice and sticky sharp, don't think I've ever had one not perfect in the pack. There hand packed and think they chemically sharpen them now. Looks like those even unhooked for you even tho they were gut hooked. The painted gamas add a little thickness but always work fine, there popular for finesse fishing.

That was a pretty good story about your new PB trout. Sorry to here about the phone 📱 it did make me smile though when he said he could see the light under the water when he called it. Some of the experiences of fishing we will never forget. Making great memories.

I think it's one of the most beautiful trout fishing rivers in Arkansas. Very beautiful in the spring and summer.

@@jeffwiddoes5984 when you go to Heber springs. Cross the big Dam on greers ferry Lake. Turn right on hatchery road. This will take you to John f Kennedy Park campgrounds. That's where I am at. Very beautiful place to fish.

Couldn’t find this spot when I went, did you park before the gate that has the “pay here” sign when entering the campgrounds or did you park before you get there?

You go through the gate past the boat ramp and right there on the right side there's a parking lot just for parking you can walk down at the end of the parking lot right down to the river
