Attacking a pack of b29s would almost be a fools errand. Its basically a swarm of aimbot assisted death. I would not envy a guy doing that one bit.

Shidens were badly organized (three attacking one), b-29 took two Ki-84 Hayate with him, Ki-61 were not precise (B-29s were!), J2M Raidens were combination of Ki-84 & Ki-61 ""successes"... Japan really miss "Experten" to do a decent Defense. As it can be seen, B-29 was a formidable opponent. Looks that Japan couldn't do much with a rookie pilots
