The rivers have always been there. Boats typically spawn at Pokorov, Krisnoe, Balota, Krivets, Dobbovoe and any number of the small marinas/boat houses. Depending on the server, they will despawn anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Personally I love the boats and the "Y" key for Earplugs make driving the boats a pleasure, not having to listen to the loud motors on those longer trips. I really like Deadside, granted it has it's flaws and a lot more work to be done. But the game feels smooth and I actually dig the more casual gameplay. The convoys are nearly undoable unless you have well coordinated team and do alot of kiting. Solo is simply a no-go anymore, even using the tripwires mines, there are simply to many and there are Elite level soldiers amongst the escort.

HI fisk firstly great having some more deadside and 4:43 See I am not an expert but I have quiet a bit of knowledge about firearms as I love them ( And for those who think I am American I am not ) The SVD is a Russian DMR ( Designated Marksman Rifle ) which is Chambered in 7.62*54R (for Rimmed not Russia) its the same cartridge chambered by the Mosin Nagant the SVD is a short-stroke gas piston system that's the info I know about SVD hope it will help

The SVD is an outdated design, but still relatively powerful and accurate today. Despite being eclipsed by newer much more capable precision rifle systems.

Deadside's a decent game but there are a lot of those games around that have massive potential but don't reach a big enough audience since they don't have console versions or don't have a proper single player campaign and only focus on pc multiplayer. Gamers have to watch out for developers forcing multiplayer games without a single player campaign on us. If multiplayer's the only thing making a game playable, it means they don't put in enough effort to make the game good on it's own and that multiplayer and the fans have to do their work for them in terms of making it fun. When games like Deadside, SCUM, Mist Survival, DayZ, Generation Zero, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, etc, get proper single player campaigns, get console versions while retaining the ability to play multiplayer ánd also implement the ability to play campaign through online co-op, then they've reached their full potential in my opinion. Some of these games do have single player campaign but a very short one or have console versions but no story.. Btw, I know it's extremely expensive to release updates for consoles, especially for small, indie game developers, due to Sony, Microsoft's, Nintendo's greed, but the indie developers will rake in a lot of money themselves too if they get things right on those platforms as well. Would be a shame if they'd let those chances fall to the wayside. I'll be following these games until then.

Just double click on the item to 'take' it (PS the Lighthouse in the west has a boat) The boats are cool and I like the way you cant keep them, I am getting more into it by the week (there is never anyone on your server I do look) the updates are a bit slower that I would like but when they come they are good, trying to take that convoy is madness you need 2 -3 on it but the rewards are supposed to be better (2 scopes sucked) not tried a helicrash yet they used to be hard enough on your own before, not sure if they are harder

Deadside has definitely come a long way. I bought this game when it was released, played it for a few hours at a time a few times and it was just trash. Script kitties everywhere teleporting with aimbot and ESP. Have not played it ever since. Maybe I may give it another try.

Why the killing of innocent bystanders ? They’re just trying to survive

The big issue here is that you can't own the boats. You can't even park it, go make a couple of missions nearby, and then return to it, because it will despawn. Pretty useless for now. Seeing how poorly they did with these first vehicles, I'm affraid developing a fuctional land vehicle that is actually usefull and balanced will take them way too many years.
