Fistful of Frags' pacing is weird. The operator will be shooting away and doing wild motions at an inhuman pace, but the moment a reload comes along, they stop, slow down, and manage a more believable pace than Battlefield, before spinning the revolver cylinder at 50mph and snapping back to idle or running the shotgun pump action in the blink of an eye.

@@lambn25 I use "operator" as a catch-all term for someone who operates a firearm. Cowboy, soldier, astronaut, random civilian in a white suit. It's not the best, but here it is, I can't change it now that there are comments about it.

I think the reload animations were meant to reflect that the Wild West had very slow and not very fast paced weapons, which contrasts the pacing of the game where if in a situation if you're too slow, you're dead. Also could be because it's made by modders and not triple A animators.

I was thinking about a custom server/mode for BF1 with a western theme, only weapons from 1860-ish to 1910, horses and maybe light cars, and only a few maps like Suez, Sinai, Prise de Tahure and such. It would be really nice in my opinion

Alternatively , we could make a Western Mod for the game along with a historically accurate Mod .But no one wants to .

@@ivan5604It is possible to change weapon appearances via mods, but only those with the mod are gonna see it, and it does not change stats (But I believe you can get banned cause it can be seen as cheating)

Yeah, the peacemaker and the Navy share those animations, and they're not very good. I think they're not replaced still because the Devs don't know how to reanimated them without making the animations look too fast or too slow for balancing purposes.

It's a half life 2 mod and most maps look far better than shown in the video ( maps aren't massive desert's full of nothing)
