Thank you! It’s really amazing how good it performs! Now to find some all terrain tires in 25.5-26” diameter for the 15” wheels.

I don't go off-roading, but I live in Colorado. So it'd be nice to have that extra clearance when we get a snow storm. Plus I could take advantage of those spots at work that they sacrifice to pile snow onto, that would otherwise be unavailable to me for a week or two.

I believe it's the 2nd gen Insight, that you get the parts from, right? I've literally just starting looking into lifting my 1st gen Fit earlier today xD

@@turbostoybox2182 Awesome. Thanks! Don't plan on doing it till I'm sure of what I need to order. Aaand I might get my windshield ceramic tinted first.. It's getting hot already, and we're barely out of spring xD

@@Hachiro so we ordered complete insight front strut assemblies and rear shocks, insight oem rear coil springs, original front swaybar links for the fit, and then the 30mm lift kit from eBay for the Honda Fit/Jazz.

This is wicked. I'm a local to TC & would love to get together & chat some time about the Fit you guys are curating! I'm pumped this is going down local to me.. especially because just last year I purchased a Sport GE8 & have been loving it for a daily. They're fun cars, regardless of use! lol

BTW; I believe the insight has more travel, so it will extend the spring enough that the cups had to be designed to "catch" the spring upon unload situations. When mounted to the Fit, that no longer becomes the case because the sus geo is different & doesn't allow the spring to leave the bucket, per-say.

I’m in Michigan and would like to throw this exact kit on my Fit for the winters, but I don’t want to mess it up myself. How long did it take you to put everything together?

@@johnbogardus970 With all the parts in hand I put the car together in a night after work. But I also do this stuff all the time. I can’t imagine I would take someone a whole day. But that depends on how rusty yours is.

Dude that thing is awesome. Plan on doing this to my ge8. How’s the ride on the road so far? Off-road it seems great. I only want the clearance for getting into parking lots without scraping every time.

This car handles amazing on and off road. I think the slightly firmer spring rates of the Insight actually helped the car in every way.

Which year insight suspension did you go for? The entire set from the insight bolts right in? I wanna do this so bad!!

2010 Insight loaded struts, and rear shocks from Rockauto, new oem honda rear springs for the same car, plus the 30mm lift kit off eBay.

dude, I've been wanting to do the same to my first gen fit for a while. but haven't found any videos on anybody doing it. My thing feels like it's been lowered. I know it hasn't been but the ride height is terrible. what year of insight shocks did you use?
