Surprisingly this was the setup I’ve always had for 90% of my videos. That Fitbit video randomly took off because for that one time I was too lazy to raise up the table lol

I JUST got my braided solo loop, seriously an underrated part of the product, and even more comfortable than the sports solo loop. Glad you've enjoyed the switch over. Also yeah breath reminders were a bit much lol

How’s your versa 3 holding up? I’m leaning towards getting my first smartwatch and eyeing the versa 3 but saw some reviews about it falling apart after a year.

@@LL-et3yk Hello, my FitBit no longer sync to my phone and I have tried everything to get to work. I ended up a few months ago going back to a smartwatch. I did enjoy the Fitbit and it’s intact but the software got laggy over time and no longer working. It will not do anything. So, for longevity, I’ll say get a smartwatch but for a better productivity I loved my Fitbit. I still don’t wear my smartwatch everyday. I still say it’s still too distracting for me.

Problem solved guess it’s not a dealbreaker after all. My main problem is the battery life, I feel like it drains fast, also scratches easily but that can be solved with a screen protector which is just annoying

Or you can just learn how to use your watch? There is a mirror setting for this. It’s not a problem with the watch

The mirror setting doesn’t solve it. I’d already tried that first. Apple support itself said it doesn’t do it.

I believe Series 4 & 5 are the same. Series 6 has a much different color and has a more yellow hue to it. Where as the previous generations of stainless steel gold is more of a rose/copper gold look.

I’m a month into my Apple Watch 6. I still miss the Fitbit app and info, but with all the native functions that work with the iPhone I’ll be staying with the Apple Watch. Phone calls and texts are great. Replying to texts, great. And I’ve been using Strava and Peloton apps for my fitness. There’s a lot of stuff I don’t like about the watch, some mentioned below, but it works a lot more in my world than the most $$$$ Fitbit Sense. But I still miss the Fitbit app and the way it displays all the info.

Yeah, all the ‘rings’ a d visual info on the Apple Watch feel so big and dumbed down. I just want the info in regular graphs. I just miss the fitbit health info. For sleep tracking I use an app called AutoSleep becasue I loathed all the others. Fitbit was better at this. I have the 6 and I’m not sure it better than the SE. I turned off ‘always on’ with in the first two days of owning it because it’s drained the battery with in a day. Really pretty upset about that. And then by the time my return period was over I realized the Oxygen feature is a little useless. My physiotherapy trainer pointed out that unless you are sick, your oxygen is pretty much the same all the time. Those were the two features I wanted over the SE... so. Wasn’t happy about that. But it’s pretty, I leave my phone a lot so I’m glad I got the cellular option! The sport loop took a bit to get used to as well! LOL

Thanks@@Jampper, I decided to buy the FitBit Sense as the third band I have purchased for my Ionic broke and the Sense was readily available while I would have had to wait for the much more expensive Apple Watch 6 (which was nearly four times the cost of the sense including the stainless steel band I would need!). I'll just wait until the band on my Sense breaks (I know it will in a couple of months as I am often offshore fishing and the salt destroys the bands) and then buy an Apple Watch next time.

@@brendansardelic I switched from Versa Lite to Apple Watch 5. I never use the always-on display as I thought I would, but it burns battery pretty quickly. I would recommend the SE which doesn't have always-on display but the screen turns on immediately when you flip your wrist. Even faster than Fitbit. My personal opinion is that 6 is not worth the extra money.

I still agree with most of the points here but disagree with the last one. Yes, Fitbit products prices are climbing to mainstream competitors and at the price point, it makes it harder as a choice when you’re invested in an android ecosystem and even worse the apple ecosystem. And Apple Watch dominates the smart watch market share even though they don’t have “budget” options (now the SE rivals Fitbit in price. Apple has some of the loyalist customers in ALL industries so when you present a Fitbit or Apple Watch SE side by side, 9/10 the apple customer is going to pick the SE, regardless of the fitness. I’ve never gotten a free apple product in my life, and 99% of the products on this channel come from my own personal money. I also explained in this video I bought this Apple Watch off Facebook marketplace which I always advise people to do. Used is better value for your money, especially apple products. I can see how you can be confused though, but being done with Fitbit, their price increases, lack of functionality after some time and biggest of all support (lot of people share the same sentiment in the comments), the company just isn’t the same of what it used to be. The only thing Fitbit has going for it is battery life and…sleep tracking I guess, but I don’t wear my watch to sleep. To each their own though.

@@DayoAworunse Thanks for your response Dayo. Ok, I take it back; you didn't get free Apple products. This is going to come down to the personal preference of if you want an awesome smartwatch with some fitness feature or if you want a smart fitness tracker. You are invested in media and KZfaq. It would make sense for someone invested in social media to have a device with more social and media capabilities. As you've already stated in the video, people are not buying the Apple Watch for it's fitness platform. I agree with that completely. For those of us who are invested in activities and fitness; some may try the Apple Watch as we have, but find it disappointing, again, as we have. I'm wearing both as I stated earlier, and my wife has gone back to just wearing her Versa 2. That's why I'm still looking around. We are iPhone users and it would seem logical to continue to invest into the ecosystem, but that doesn't appear to be an option for us now. I'm really hoping that Google Wears next release with the combined Fitbit and Tizen OS will produce a device with all of the Fitbit's tracking and community features, as well as , Tizen's more stable OS. From what I've read, it should, and that may be where we end up once released. I'll look for your review once it does.
