This review goes over a summary of the program, what BBR comes with, my 18 week experience, my personal pros/cons, and suggestions based off my experience that might help any of you interested in this program.
I'll leave a link below to FitnessFAQ's channel and where to purchase the program if any of you are interested!
If you have any other programs you think I should check out or try leave a comment below. If you enjoyed the video subscribe for more content in the future. Thanks for watching! Enjoy the Process.

One of if not THE best review i've ever seen. Love that you don't just speak to the camera for 5-10 minutes. The transitions are awesome, and i keeps changing enough to keep it interesting! Glad i clicked even though my first thought was that it was long.

I noticed we have a few differences in form, such as on the pelican curls, and i also notice you made such a bigger transformation than myself! the results are what i would like but obviously we are different people, genetics etc., Keep up the good work dude! and post this on the forum!

Great video, subscribed and probably going to purchase the program (been waffling between trying to figure it out on my own or buying something like BBR). General public speaking suggestion to consider - you make a lot of apologies about the missing footage from phase 2/3 - it's generally better to not apologize for content you don't have. Instead, focus on the (frankly amazing) content and video you do have. I probably wouldn't have even noticed the missing footage, but if you feel the need to acknowledge it don't dwell on it. My two cents - you do you and what you think is best.

Godlike video dude! How did you approach the tempo for some exercises? I find it difficult sticking with the rep range with the given tempo for some exercises like chin ups, could only do 4 chin ups with the tempo as opposed to the minimum of 6.
@BodyweightProcess
@BodyweightProcess 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! And the E-book actually addresses that, but to put it simply, if you’re struggling reaching the minimum reps try and perform less reps and more sets. Ex, perform 5 sets x 4 reps (= 20 total reps) you still meet the volume needed while being able to execute reps with proper form avoiding fatigue early on in your sets. The only downside is this will take more time. You can also manipulate the tempo if it’s too difficult for you. I remember the chin up tempo it’s a tough one, just reduce the eccentric time and isometric hold time at the top, even by one second and see how it feels. Overtime you can gradually work your way back to the recommended tempo. Quality > Quantity 💯

@BodyweightProcess
@BodyweightProcess 3 жыл бұрын
I’d recommend hitting legs twice a week if possible during the program, (ex. Saturday & Wednesday) especially since you won’t have access to a gym. At some point I’ll be uploading bw routines for legs. In the meantime fitnessfaqs & calisthenicmovement have solid bw leg routines you can follow on those days. Thanks for watching!

Great summary mate! I’ve also been on BBR for the last 2.5 years and I must agree, if you stay focused on slowly progressing, muscle and power gains soon follow! However, another CON would be lack of info around general injury prevention…only Daniels wrist and shoulder warmup discusses this. For example, when I was repping out 16 ring dips, I soon developed a shoulder injury for 5 months. So I had to go back to basics and hired a PT and a Physio to focus me on building bullet proof shoulders with weights - which I still do to this day for warmup. Also, as you mentioned, LEG workouts are imperative - not really mentioned in BBR program! So I purchased Limitless Legs and oh man are my legs bulking now after 1 year. And most lower back and neck pain are gone! During lockdowns, my friends were getter fatter due to gyms closing, and I was getting stronger each day at home. My current weekly split is as follows: (and my program shuffles the days): Day 1 - BBR Day 2 - limitless legs Day 3 - skills day (handstand, muscle up, front lever, L Sit etc) Day 4 - BBR Day 5 Limitless legs Day 6 - BBR Day 7 - rest For 4 weeks, then 1 week de-load. Because I’m also vegan (focus on high Protien plant food), my found my muscle recovery is about 24 hours, allowing me to train at full intensity for almost every day of the week. Finally, you can use this program indefinitely as there are many progressions to keep you busy. For example, I now do 16kg pull-ups and chin-ups with a weight belt - my goal is 20kg.

That’s an awesome point, addressing injury prevention would’ve been a nice plus. I’ve been in a similar position with injuries good thing you addressed it (currently dealing with bad bicep tendonitis sadly). Love your schedule and how you’re combining BBR and LL, I have yet to try LL maybe that can be a future review video. Thanks for sharing your process/providing your input my man and thank you for watching! Keep at it 💯

Hey, one of the best edited videos I've seen!! Been looking into buying BBR, but was wondering if it would work with weights? Say weighted pull ups and dips? Been doing weighted pull ups and dip for awhile now, so was wondering if this program would be suitable for weighted calisthenics. Thanks!
@BodyweightProcess
@BodyweightProcess Жыл бұрын
Thank you ! Honestly I wouldn’t jump into this with weighted variations yet. Especially considering the tempo protocols used (assuming you stick to them) and volume involved. It progressively gets more difficult with each phase. Have you trained weighted ring dips in the past? Regardless, it’s well worth being patient, using just your bodyweight for now, especially if you aren’t acclimated to using rings 👍

amazing video i loved it ! i have a question , how did you keep progressing after the hardest variations of the exercises became easy after you finished the program. for example i can do 12 bilgurian dips with good form. so i had to add weights with belt to ring exercises. what did you do to still progress to reach the bodybuilder physyque u wanted through calithenics / rings.

First off thank you for watching I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I also began weighted calisthenics training as well after the fact, I was experimenting with pure strength phases maintaining strength training protocols such as 1-5 reps / 3-5 sets/ 3-5 minute rest periods, etc. So when I went back to my hypertrophy work I'd be able to increase intensities from previous exercises and perform them within hypertrophy range. Overall switching between hypertrophy/strength phases while progressively overloading and adding different exercises overtime worked best for me.

Hey man, awesome review first off. Literally ordered the rings after I watched it because it was that motivational. Just one simple question. Not looking to be told what in the program because I will buy it, I just want to know, on the second go around of the program did you start with the intense workouts because you have already been doing them and the add your own twist? Just wanted clarification haha because I know you did it twice. I am also someone who likes to push myself so I just wanted to know if you did make it harder, do you just add more sets and less reps to your own style or work ethic? Again amazing review, subscription earned 😎

That makes me truly happy to know appreciate the kind words! So when I repeated it I actually started from phase one (3 phases each 6 weeks) and decided to incorporate a weight vest, but I also played around with different combinations of push/pull using his exercises, added muscle up work, played with different tempo variations, etc. I pretty much followed the hypertrophy protocols that he taught while making minor changes to how I approach the workouts. After, I started to research more about hypertrophy and strength phases, tested doing a hypertrophy block (6 weeks) on rings then a strength phase for 6 weeks using the necessary protocols in terms of reps/sets/rest/intensity for those goals. I’d say it’s not about making it harder (trust me it’s tough enough), for me it was more about testing out new ways to approach it, learning more, and taking bits that I learned from it applying it to other areas of my training. Definitely a fun and very challenging program that is well worth the outcome. In my opinion, no need to stress repeating it just take something from it as you level up. Good luck with your training man and thanks for watching 💯
