Thanks! I'm a few months short of needing new tires and plan to go to that size. I don't want any lift or leveling, so I really apperciate what you've done. I'll definately regear and retune as a part of the project.

Thanks for the video been trying to figure out what size to get after my bds lift and didn’t want to go with a 35 or 33 lol I think this will be perfect for my OCD haha 😂

Take a calculator. Multiply 285 * 0.75 that's both side walls. Then divided by 25.4 and that will get you inches of the top and bottom sidewall Add 17 for the wheel, and you go with that figure regardless of what the actual brand and model of tires shows up would measure. You go by the size. Good job thanks thumbs up
@CharlesDonaldson-oz2dlАй бұрын
Okay but right at first I confused someone on the figure you come up with 285 multiplied by 75 is one side wall so it's doubled and then you add the wheel.

Awesome!! Thank you!! Been researching this a ton...I have 33"s coming and I wanted to know what the fit would be WITHOUT a leveling kit! I plan on purchasing a BDS 4" lift and they recommend NOT to use a leveling kit with their 4" system!!!

Just did the 4.10 gears in mine. Do it you will love it. Just find a good gear shop. Also recommend the Trifecta tune. Your cruise control won’t work after the gear swap.... the tune fixes it. Also makes the gear shifts much better.
@gvsukids4 жыл бұрын
why will the cruise control not work after the gear swap?
@campbelloffroad36604 жыл бұрын
Yeah I already have the tune and I love it, I am getting the 4.56 gears because I plan to do more rock crawling and likely towing a 3,000 lb camper next year
@mikemissouri51524 жыл бұрын
Justin P Something with the speed sensors and the computer. Not really sure but I’ve confirmed it with a couple guys that have done the gear swap also and same thing. I know it sounds crazy. Just as crazy is the tune fixes it perfect. The KM3 look awesome btw. I’ll probably them next go around. I just went bigger Duratracs 295/70.

Like it. Just curious how it behaves on gravel. I've got ZR2 and planned on 33.

Takes gravel like its on rails. It's honestly insane how well it handles grid roads

I got 33s and the front tires a super close to upper control arm, did you have any issues?
@azoutdoors23444 жыл бұрын
That ZR2 definitely looks proper with those new tires, and hopefully the leveling kit along with the add a leaf will solve the rubbing issue in the rear. I was going to lift my stock Pro4X Frontier, but decided to leave it stock since it's my daily driver and almost paid off. A Jeep project will commence soon instead hopefully. A 6" lift on 37" tires should be adequate to run trails like the Rubicon. The Frontier will tow the Jeep on a small flatbed trailer to all of the trails.
@campbelloffroad36604 жыл бұрын
John Kickass 6” lift seems a bit excessive for a Jeep on 37s, I’ve heard a 2-3” lift and 35s is a much cheaper setup and plenty capable of doing the Rubicon, but as long as you do your research and know what you’re doing then go for it.

Any experience with dashboard warning lights coming on after lift and tires installed? I just put my BDS lift on my ZR2 yesterday with 35" BF Good ATs. My stabilitrac and traction control lights won't turn off now. Also, I'm prompted during ignition that my power steering has diminished. Thanks.

Interesting problem, unfortunately I am not that familiar with the BDS kit so I don’t know what would cause that. I would recommend calling BDS, I have heard they have good customer service

Can a 33 fit with the Eibach leaf front spring? I think it’s a 1.25 lift

I have those same 285/75r17 KM3s but I didn’t wanna trim so I had to do a lot of work to my ZR2

What do you mean a lot of work? Bds 4 inch?
@SpreadArmyProductions074 жыл бұрын
Campbell ZR2 I still wanted my truck to drive like stock so I went a different route with coil over conversion
@0731mia4 жыл бұрын
Omar's Camera hi. What springs did you go with on the conversion? I’m looking at doing the same kit. Peak Suspension?
@SpreadArmyProductions074 жыл бұрын
0731mia went with 600 spring rate, slightly stiffer than stock but I want to do a bumper so I have to compensate for the extra weight
@clarkhighstrete92274 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking similar. Actually a 1 inch spacer and the Peak coilovers for an extra inch or so and adjustability. Seems like a good compromise cause the spacer doesn't effect the shock neutral position and the spring lift does a bit (reduces down travel) but doesn't change overall travel range - for CVs, bumps, etc. I think the GMPP level is actually mix like this. I too have heavy bumper and a winch to boot, so also looking at stiffer spring at Peak. Oh, also a UCA with increased caster to move tire forward. I'm hoping to avoid cutting metal with this cocktail 😖

285/75/17 or 33.8 or 33.9. They are definitely considered a 34 inch tire
