I had you guys fit my mk8 with the revo mount over a year ago and agree that the vibrations are the only draw back but worth every penny for the performance upgrade 🙌

Hi, enjoyed your video. Picking up my brand new, one of the last made Fiesta ST mk8.5 this week and was wondering if the new 8.5 has a better torque mount and not needing a upgrade as I plan to get a stage 1 Revo upgrade after a thousand miles or so on the clock. So the question is will the standard mount be good enough or is a upgrade needed. I see the Pumaspeed version for this is a great option from what is said on the forums. Please advise with your experiences. Thanks 🙏

It shouldn’t, as it doesn’t negatively impact anything - however manufacturers do like to find ways out of warranty so if you were to have say a gearbox issue they may try blame the mount! We’ve yet to hear of any body have a problem however and they’re so easily removable that it’s simple enough to swap out before going in to the dealership

What the difference with stock mounts mk8 then mk8.5

The mount has a stronger rubber bush but is also a different shape entirely, ford have obviously acknowledged that the MK8 mount was horrible

Get a insert power flex only £20 and you get a better smother gear changed I tried on of the dog bone mounts well to hard

for us old schoolers thats 35ft/lbs and 33ft/lbs !!

Our MK8.5 torque mount is in development currently - and is actually on the vehicle now. At the time of filming we didn’t have the prototype as the facelift uses a different mount
