FITTING a NEW Headlining in my R53 (Mini Cooper S)

With the London to Brighton coming up i thought it would be a good idea fitting a new Headlining in my r53 mini cooper s.
i take you through how i did it and i hope it helps you to do the same.
this is the first time i have done it so you can do it to.

Super vid! Saved my sweat and tears on this project. After replacing a couple of American made headliners, I was expecting more fasteners vice clips. Less work with the clips after you showed where they were hidden. Thanks mate!

Great vid. After completing the job, would you recommend removing the pillar trim to others, or just try sliding the headlining out?

That is not an easy fix and i still have to repair my r 50,you did a fine repair it looks real nice.

Great job my mate. My R50 was gray, and just got in boack suede this morning. Got all out, now i will clean old glue off and spray and lay the new suede. Great video. Your video was soothing with those jams in background. 💯🤙

Great work! I’m about to go pull a headliner from a wrecked mini thats in good shape at our local salvage yard and needed a quick tutorial.

Real nice video sir. Was thinking of doing this to my chili r53. Would you say the job was tedious altogether? Because looking at the after product the work looks worth it!

The job is well worth doing and not as hard as you would think at all. Just get a good days weather ahead of you and go for it. Does yours have a sunroof? If not it will be even easier

@@theburts I have a sunroof as well soo I’m the same boat as you Mate. Gotta take everything out before installing the new. My headlining now is a grey but, I want to go more for a black, dark look on the interior like yourself. Since the guts are red I think it will accent it nice. Again just want to say I Appreciate you taking your time with the different angles and such. Not many videos out there for us mini guys!!
