Put the thinner springs at the front it will be lower as the weight of the motor will have more effect on the thinner sleeves than the thicker sleeves

Hey LateLate I bought a Toyota tazz … but my mom used it to travel to work because it’s much lighter on fuel I’ve been considering cutting the springs about the same way you did on this car but I just wanted to know will it still drive soft when she goes to work(she travels 110kms to work and back )

I wonder if it would make a difference if you cut the sleeve overs for a mk1 so you can get the comfortablity of sleeveovers but the lows of a cut spring?

I wouldn't recommend that. Because then u are wasting your money.. I would say buy sleeve overs for ur mk1 but just get extended mounting for your front shocks and u will be able to slam ur mk1

You need to cut the spring plates off the shock so it can go lower. Done a few cars already

hey boet u fitted sleeve overs in my friends dohc it went real low..u then had to lift the rear abit cos it was to low...so sleeves r ok for a honda it gives a decent drive aswel

It will go low but not as low. Most probably the same lows as my car atm in this video. Not sure u get flipmounts for that cars

Shorten the shocks. Your shocks are going to bottom out. If you shorten the shocks you will have more lows

TEEJAY had a bad experience by slamworx with his air setup. Apparently they are good with sleeve over installations, but unfortunately i would rather buy coilovers.
