These look so good...! Today I fit a set of Corbeau Bucket Seats in my M140i! The car finally feels like it's coming together.

i believe the belt is supposed to go through the hole on the side of the seat (opposite side to the buckle)

Slight concerns for your safety here - may I suggest that the belt (drivers side) that goes over your right hip should be routed through the slot in the seat to the anchor point? Also.... have you disabled the belt pretensioner and airbag ? If so I suggest you notify your insurers, just in case of any issues should you need to make a claim. Putting these concerns aside I’m liking the look of those bad boys!

It voids your insurance if you disconnect any safety measures in the car, there’s no negotiating no one would ensure a car like this.

Ross Armstrong these seats are really designed for a four point harness - Re using a factory fit inertia reel is not really the way to go imho - especially without the pretension device/airbag

I’m not sure I miss some part or not. I’m already install the aftermarket seat but I didn’t move that sensor plug from old seat to the new and have error shows on the screen about driver restraint system. Do you plug it back in and have no issues? Please let me know. Thanks!

Carbon paddles? Wind deflectors, carbon all the silver bits, front fins, black badge may look cool, rear seat delete then eventually cage and stage 3

I would highly advise running the seat belt through the loops of the seat. I’m the event of a front end collision you have 0 lap tension and you will submarine under the belt and get extremely hurt. Or harness bar and some proper harnesses 👍

Got the Cobra exhaust cat back fitted to my M140i. I uploaded a video of it. Sounds amazing. I want to upgrade the down pipe but not sure what go with.

Didnt you get your car tuned? You should have turned cold start off. BM3 or MHD both allow this option as well as customisable burbles.

Just curious what your insurance company has said about the modifications? Interior and exterior? I know by law you must tell them about all exterior mods, but with removing the air bag that’s surely a risk? Have you told them?

He has a decat fitted so any insurance is null n void. No point notifying on anything else.

You know I dont know if it's just me but I think it would be way much cooler if you could get bucket seats like the M2 or M4 they are all the same. But they all have an emblem which lights up in the seat . if you could get after market seats like those ones which has the M140I emblem which lights up 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😯 fire .Wonder if you could buy seats like that.🤔

You need to rethink this Luke, the lap section of the belt looks to be loose and won’t tighten in a crash as you’ve deleted the pretensioners.

Can you do a video about your insurance and vehicles legality? As you have removed the CAT (no longer meet environmental laws), altered the exhaust (it’s above legal noise limits) and removed the factory seats, side airbags and routed the seatbelt differently (crash safety has altered). Is your insurer still covering your personal safety in a crash? Is your insurer still covering any vehicle repairs from a crash? Is your registration still valid? I know it may be a bit of dull content, but you should consider what messages you are sending to your 50k subscribers......

I would imagine the insurers would probably not cover him for medical expenses in the case of an accident (if he had any medical coverage in his insurance policy prior). I've been modding my new car for the first time but have been verrrrrry wary about fiddling with safety features (as much as I want to buy bucket seats first thing tomorrow lol)

You don’t look like you’re enjoying that excessively loud cold start, I’d have it deactivated. It’s also completely pointless as it’s job was to accelerate how quickly the Cat warms up, which you have now removed.

I think the seats look awesome in the car there lighter than the original perfect for when taking it to the track I bet there loads more comfortable than the original because bmw seat are really not the best for support owning a F20 pre lci there's not a lot of support in the seats and people modify car because it's there hobby it's there passion it's a way to express who you are experiencing new thing learning new skills if you don't agree with what he's doing then don't watch the video ffs. But I would like to know how you got ride of the air bag fault in your car tho wanting to change the seats in my car please 😊

@@jakestevens6474 Yes. For daily use just no need for them at all. The 140i is a lovely car straight out of the box. Maybe a map and sticky road tyres could improve them for road use. But I've seen this done a thousand times. Cold start but annoy neighbours. Lower it and scrape the underside of the car to bits on bumps and destroy ride quality, rip interior out so no passengers, bucket seats so it's a pain getting in and out. Spacers because your wheel bearings last way too long and it feels great when your tyres are scrubbing on the arches!! Oh well it was a nice car. And this connector here, erm, we'll just shove that under the seat because I've nowhere to plug it and the warning lights go off when I turn the ignition off!!🤣🤣

Thats fully illegal..... Where I live they’d take the plates off this car in about 1.5 minutes if stopped. Dont get me wrong, I really like the car, and the stuff you are doing to it, must be a hell ov a ride, just be really careful with the rozzers mate

That seatbelt shouldn't be over the seat like that and could break and cause unnecessary injury in a crash. Seat airbags are there for a reason, with millions spent on R&D. Parents need a word with you lad.
