I know I'm a bit late to the party but on the basis of your video I bought a set of these seat covers for my Jimny and fitted them without a hitch. I'm so grateful to you people who take time out of your day to make life easier for the rest of us! Thanks a bunch.

Thanks for your great videos, they are a great help. Could you please tell me how the plastic covers of the seat can be removed without causing any damage? I say THANKS and Greetings from Germany.

Manfred, thanks. Escape Gear say that there is no need to remove the plastic! They advise putting the strap outside the plastic. Please see my follow up video for details. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l9R2p7uCvL_Wink.html If you do want to remove the plastic, simply prize of gently from the top. It is only held on with 3 or 4 plastic clips. Cheers. N

storminatwork at Higher Ground Lifestyle Thank you for your quick reply. I have seat covers from another manufacturer and these have to be put under the side covers. Since these are very close to the seat, I have to remove them. I'll try it very carefully tomorrow, I do not want to hurt my little Jimny. 😜 Many thanks again! 👍🙏👋

In my experience there isn’t! They’re expensive but a great investment. Mine are now in their third Jimny and still look like new. Cheers. N

M S Honestly, they probably look better! They’ve completely taken up the shape of the seat and look factory fitted. I also had mine personalised with some embroidery on the headrests that makes them look just a little different.

Do the front seats fold flat

Yes, they fold completely flat and level with the rear - there’s just enough room to lay out flat and sleep on each side! This is a useful feature in an emergency...
