Fitting the New Maxton Design Kit at their HQ | MK7 Golf R Modifications

Күн бұрынI was kindly invited down to the Brand New Maxton Design HQ that's now here in Leeds to check out their new Installation Bay to have the New MK7 Golf R Kit fitted to my car. I can't thank the guys there enough for giving me the kit, it was so good to see the process and be able to document how their new installer fits the products in house.
I hope you all buy the new kits, and have them installed at the new HQ and then you can drive straight out with everything on your car!

That would've been a cool experience! Your videos seem a tad dark, might just be my display settings, just an FYI. I like the new splitter; that's awesome!

good to see a uk YTer on golf Rs, sick of clicking on a vid to be an American fitting stuff to a GTI. im split RN on getting the maxton spoiler or the zaero, defiantly getting the maxton rear diffuser though.

I found the same issue back when I first got my parts! I’ve done a few other videos earlier on my channel fitting all the parts to my car, spoiler, diffuser and splitter individually. Yeah their diffuser is great!

Thank you just seen this! I’m not actually too sure, is there no option for the V2 side skirts on the estate section? I’m not sure if the base is longer I’ll have to double check!

Looks good! Where did you get the black rear emblem with the white inlay? Wanting to do the same to my oryx 7.5

Thank you mate, I just got the black badges from eBay, and then some white vinyl I got (but of a DIY version) I think you could get colour matched inlays from somewhere I’d have to find out😄

@@kylehoo1282 ah yeah my friends 7.5 gti struggled with the rear fitment... I'd ask in any of the Facebook grouos at what they've done for the 7.5 I'd hate to give you a link and the fitment is bad!

I’m just a bit confused why the front splitters don’t actually come with the anchoring rivets, if they recommend them to be necessary. I’m waiting to have my front Maxton Splitter fitted but it didn’t come with the rivets, just normal self tapping screws. Would liked to have had Maxton fit it but it is quite expensive and had a lot of recent unexpected bills, so getting them done by someone else but I certainly will be wanting some rivets adding.

Why did they drill 17mm holes through the front splitter when the bolts are 8mm that attach to the rivet nuts ?, surely they should of drilled 9mm holes ? Puts me off having them fit it

Congrats you have passed ‘Full-on Chav Level’ these sort of ‘tat’ are just terrible. The car would have been better had you used the money for decent tyres, brake pads, intercooler, wheel alignment etc.

I didn't pay a single penny for any of this kit or having it fit, I got it all for free, but appreciate your input. Also, how do you know I've not done all of the above anyway? You're also saying Michelin Pilot Sport 4's are bad tyres...? Wild!
