Many people define masterscoot as masterswipe landing on non-swing leg. I personaly like the "two-handed scoot technique" with more over the top motion to get the most out of the second hand.

Do you have any tips for not touching the ground with your back leg when performing the Master Scoot. I can Master Scoot from stag fine and swing gainers and corks out of it, but it’s really hard for me to do it without my left foot or knee touching down. It makes it difficult to transition into it and use it in combos.

Learn to do master swipe from a hook kick setup and then keep drilling that till you get used to diving onto your hands. Then put that into your masterscoot. It's not really a thing where there's much progression, you just have to do it. Also work scoots where the left knee doesn't touch the floor - make only the ball of the left foot be the thing touching at the start so you can get used to not "kneeling" in your scoots
