I came here after the last reaction you had to this group "Wrong Side Of Heaven" and yes they hit with that song too. They pull all the right strings to make you think and evoke emotion. They are definitely not afraid to say things that are necessary. And by the way a fantastic heavy metal sound with the guitar playing of Dr. Brian May, what more could you ask for. My thoughts are that song is about the things that you do that don’t change anything, putting blue on black, cold on ice, a dead mans touch, match on a fire, tears in a river

soon as you hear the red special YOU KNOW its Brian , no matter if you know hes playing on the track or not the sound just screams Brian

This video was made to raise $ for the Gary Sinise Foundation. Blue on Black was originally written and recorded by the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. Kenny (blond hair and black hat) along with Brantley Gilbert (black cap and beard), and Brian May (no introduction needed) made guest appearances. The rest of the band are 5FDP. The band are huge supporters of our military and first responders. If you haven’t already done so check out Wrong Side of Heaven, When the Seasons Change, Gone Away (that’s a tough one to watch) and Wash it all Away just to name a few. Many of their songs have a message. Happy New Year!

A great video and song dedicated to all First Responders, police, firefighters, EMS! A very unusual song! Brian and The Red Special, adds a beautiful touch to the video! I didn’t do it full time but anytime my EMS pager went off I was out the door, never thinking of whether I’d be back or not. I did this for 10 years and love this song! I don’t understand the name of the song 🎶 nor what Brian had in the USAto do with it. Hap, a wonderful job of reacting! Thanks you for sharing this tribute to all the First Responders! Love 💗 from across the pond, Dee Ps shared on Facebook. In know in the USA, the police and firefighters, in their dress blues, wear a black stripe across their badges when a brother/sister passes. I’m not sure how long they were it but I’ve seen many brothers and sister wearing the black stripe on their badges!

Wow!! Fantastic song & great dedication to the first responders. Love the two vocalists on the song - gritty & strong!! Best part .... BRIAN MAY!!! No wonder he received the CBE from the Queen ... COMMANDER OF THE MOST EXCELLENT ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE. I’m sure the Red Special got one, too!!

Great reaction👍 FFDP is really good, made up with mostly veterans. They have several songs decanted to vets, there videos tell a story. Never to old to enjoy a good metal band.🔥🔥

I need a solo for my song, I cant get it right, I know, I will give Brian May a call. Brian is on so many other artists tracks, you could do several albums worth, in some cases uncredited.

Phenomenal! I have some uncles and cousins who are current or former first responders. Way to give a tip of the hat. Always gotta love Dr. Brian May and his lady, the red special. I totally agree they always add a special musical flavor thats just perfect. I can never gush about Bri enough! God bless him! I'd love it if you could react to more of his solo work. Thos is a Kenny Wayne Shepard's song from the late 90s. I think it was written about colors on a T-shirt. I don't know the whole story but im guessing google does. I learned it when I was in a band. I think they recently insinuated the correspondence to first responders.. perhaps it was a good idea that doesn't hurt in a marketing sense either right now?
