that piano chord in the beginning straight up gives me the chills everytime. These dudes know how to write a song to have such heavy emotion and weight to it. Not to mention that epic guitar solo with the synth added to it. This is one of the few songs where my heartstrings get tugged on a few times. I knew a few buddies who served and are no longer with us today. RIP my marines.

Today is October 18th. My baby cousin would have 38 today. He left us 3 years ago. I hear this version of this song and it draws his memory into my heart and mind. I will always love and miss you, kid. Say hello to your dad for me.

My current favorite band singing my favorite band ever! I couldn't expect for such a perfection in interpretation but I was surprised. Glad, cheered, happy, excited, entusiasmed... that's how I got when I first heard this and it increased as long as I looped to do it again and again :-)

The Offspring’s version is forever a classic rock song, but I can’t stop listening to this version. Something about it, whether it be Ivan’s more somber tone in his voice or the piano in the background, I just prefer this version to the original. Just one of those rare cases I guess. 🤘

I love this song I really do. I love the new and improved Ivan Moody. He has cleaned up nicely. He doesn't sound as angry as he normally does in his music videos. Definitely worth listening to. I love Five Finger Death Punch so much I want to see them in concert so bad.

No matter who you are in someway you can relate to these lyrics. For me it reminds me of my mom who passed away 3years ago. And the lyrics "it feels yeah it feels like heaven is so far away" brings tears because of how deeply I miss my mom.

This is an amazing cover of a great song produced by another fantastic band, that being said I feel folks should respect both versions and not rag on one or another because one is old or one is a cover. Just love the music for what it is, or don't it's your life after all.
