What a amazing place with wonderful views of the glacier and the lake . The 5 fingers overlook is quite special also . You were lucky to have nice weather good thing that the rain didn’t block your views to much and that the glacier had only a few clouds over . I haven’t fly since summer. Actually only times for me to fly are 2 weeks in summer and sometimes in April..

Yeah! It’s fantastic to walk there . My kids enjoyed this so much.. we did also the walk to the shark. I will post this video soon. And cable car to Gjaid Alm. It can be cloudy in the mountains.. I hope you will have good weather. 👍 👌

Great video!! We are going there this summer and I was really pleased to see drone shots. Do you need a special permit to fly the drone or can anyone do it? Thank you

You need to register with EASA as a drone operator. Make the online EU proof of competence. Label your drone with your remote ID. I have DJI drone. You can do it in the app. I have copy of my license always with me. Hallstatt was a safe fly zone. No extra permission. Fly in accordance with the regulations in Austria. If you fly in GEO zones ask for permission.. I hope this helps 🙏👍 FLY SAFE

Hey. Great question. The walk to the 5 fingers was less than 1 hour. Easy pathway. When you take the break at the spiral viewpoint and enjoying the views at the 5 fingers . 2 hours total back and forth. We did also the walk to the shark 🦈. I have to post that video .. easy-moderate path. this was less than 2 hours. The views of the glacier are fantastic. The views of Hallstatt lake are spectacular. I think on a sunny day you will have better views..

Hello I m in Hallstatt .yesterday I did salt mine tour and I think I can go to five fingers this early morning (02:oo )Im googling the time to go and come back to my hotel. I need to leave for vienna and must take a train at 12.3O . Timewise is it possible for me ro go to five fingers?
