Seen Jacobs Ladder and The Gate. The Gate probably a few times at least, definitely reminded me of The Goonies taking on Demons lol..........Edit: Nevermind, hit 4/5. Just watched sick last year and I've seen Kindrid with that creepy green looking monster ages ago but not since I was a kid. Might need to go back and check that one out! Thanks for the recommendations.

Great stuff Anthony! I love Dead and Buried and The Kindred in particular. The Dead and Buried 4K is awesome... I have the same Blue Underground 4K, but with a different lenticular artwork variant. And I almost went with that steelbook for The Kindred (which looks killer), but ultimately decided to save a few bucks and just get the standard Synapse blu ray. Synapse always does great work though. Love 'em. Also, props for the Pumpkinhead attire. That has become one of my favorite horror films in general (or at least, in my Top 10).

Hey, thank you so much, Fuzz! I can’t wait to check out you being interviewed by MidLevelMedia. I bet that was a very cool experience! All of the variant lenticular slipcovers for Dead & Buried look badass, so you can’t go wrong. And there’s nothing wrong with saving a few bucks. The only reason I got that Kindred steelbook is because Synapse had a booth at a horror con that I went to a couple years ago, so of course, I had to buy something cool while I was there. 😁🤑😃 And Pumpkinhead is a horror icon for sure. One of the sickest looking designs for a creature. Stan Winston and his crew created one incredible looking monster for those films. 🤘🎃🤘

@@anthonyshorrorandmore Yeah that thing with Ken at MidLevel Media was pretty cool... i was very nervous, since I had never done anything like that before on KZfaq. But it was a lot of fun, and I thought we had a great discussion. I'm a big Stan Winston fan in general. You just can't wrong with his work. Especailly when it comes to creature effects. And the atmosphere in Pumpkinhead is just perfect. I love it.

I saw sick a while back actually from a recommendation I got from you and I thought it was fun, and I actually just ended up buying the gate steelbook at Walmart because of your review and Aly was talking about it too. Thanks for the video man.

Great recommendation Anthony! I used to watch THE GATE when I was a kid too! That scene of Stephen Dorff stabbing his hand with the eye was awesome! Never heard of SICK but I'll check it out! I have heard of DEAD AND BURIED and JACOB'S LADDER but have not gotten a chance to watch them yet so I'll also put those two for my watchlist too! But oh man, THE KINDRED!!! I love that movie!!! I also remember that cover on video store shelves back in the 80s! I bought the limited edition from Synapse a while back which included a booklet and the CD soundtrack. It's nice to know that THE KINDRED has two Oscar winners: Rod Steiger and Kim Hunter. Kim Hunter, who played the mom also played Dr. Zira, the chimpanzee scientist in the first three original Planet of the Apes films! Love the practical effects! And the monster's name Anthony! You were so naughty! Hiding in watermelons and causing all sorts of chaos! Just kidding bro! LOL! 😂

I’m glad that you grew up watching The Gate as well, man. When his best friend pops out of the wall, and baby Stephen Dorff stabs his friend in the eye with a Barbie doll leg!!! I was like holy shit!!! 🤣😂
