As the world's first national park, Yellowstone has astonished visitors for over a century. Have the rare chance to see grizzly bears, bison, and a thriving population of grey wolves in their natural habitat. Located primarily in the state of Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park sits atop an enormous, slumbering supervolcano and is home to half of the world's geysers. From a 300-foot-tall waterfall to giant hot springs, here are five must-see attractions in Yellowstone.

Anytime you spot wildlife is an absolute thrill! Exploring the many desolate beaches of Yellowstone Lake was a thrill as well! And driving though the extremely wild and desolate eastern route to Cody.

I went to Yellowstone when I was young and returned last year to work there for a season and I can honestly say without a doubt it was the best experience in my life and my favorite place on Earth. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Yellowstone you should definitely take it.

_There can be nothing in the world more beautiful than the Yosemite, the groves of the giant sequoias and redwoods, the Canyon of the Yellowstone, the Three Tetons; and our people should see to it that they are preserved for their children and their children's children forever, with their majestic beauty all unmarred_ - Theodore Roosevelt

Yellowstone is definitely one of my favorite places in the states. Been there at least 5 times this year and it never gets old. If you were to go, I definitely suggest camping for a couple of nights to get the whole experience. I camped at Bridge Bay and elk were roaming around the grounds, it was pretty amazing!

I'm from the UK, and I have made it my goal to visit this place. Not just for the sights, but I've always been fascinated in it since I first saw the Grand Prismatic Spring. It's so beautiful that it's scary to think that a colossal magma chamber is under all of it and if it erupts, could quite easily destroy a few thousand miles of land. It intrigues me.

Look at a map & you'll see the road is shaped like an 8. Easy to see all this and more by following the road. Can be done in 2 days if you plan correctly and leave early. Do not spend too much time in Lamar Valley or around the geysers. Unlikely to see wolves and boiling water is boiling water.
