For real. The designs are so well done. I saw someone on the fnaf subreddit criticising them for being really loud, colourful and kid-friendly but that post made me say “yeah, that’s the point!” Fazbear Entertainment rebranded to appeal to children and to distance themselves from the past incidents, that’s the setting of Security Breach. The devs chose Glamrock era BECAUSE it was a particularly outrageous fashion phenomenon with big hair and flared jeans and wild looks! But as you progress through the game, the kid-friendly fun elements and Glamrock appeal deteriorate - Freddy gets dirtier and grimier and more broken and cracked with each upgrade. Chica’s shatter has her smashed in a trash compactor and her beak ripped off and her voice-box torn out, making her severely battered and VERY scary; she can’t even produce chicken sounds, it’s all just horrific loud mechanical clicks and whirrs and screeches. Roxy’s shatter rips away her eyes and slams her around the racetrack, so we see her face’s endoskeleton in a kind of headless Bonnie way; not to mention this development totally shatters Roxy’s already fragile ego, so she’s left with rage at Gregory for destroying her and also hideous self-esteem issues made even worse. And Monty’s shatter has him break completely in two so he’s now crawling along the ground like some kind of demented cripple. And these designs waste even more with the RUIN DLC. Anyway, case in point: designs were done very well and make excellent sense for the narrative that SB pushes.

Someone did a time stamps in the last video and I think 3 of the MANY jumpscares were not the security hits. Three of like 12.

Ironically, they're the scariest part of the whole game. Their terrible placement and the overwhelming amount of them is the one thing that actually feels like a threat. But the game relies on these horribly executed mechanics to induce fear, which is also a short lived feeling given the many means of defense.

Apparently blind people can still tell when lights are going on and off because it makes their eyelids appear bright red with their eyes closed. And when it's dark, the eyelids are completely black. So I'm guessing the animatronics, even without eyes, have light receptors still functioning. So, it's not entirely unfounded to flash them with a flashlight when they have no eyes.

The camera is just 50-50 with the fazer blast. You use fazer blast for a specific animatronic. You use the camera for all the surrounding animatronics which is useful for the endos.

Chica is less effective at chasing you when broken though, but I agree. Especially as Monty has a harder boss fight and with no saving going through that section succcks

It's fascinating to me that people find it funny. I personally find it infuriating because it shows a complete lack of common sense, and I can never get behind someone who doesn't show common sense, especially in the scenarios that most REQUIRE common sense. The whole game seems to lack bgm, so even tho we were being hunted by 3 animatronics, 1 huge music man, and who knows how many securuty robots, I had a blast with this section of the game since the music was so cool. A most welcomed change, honestly.
