Those are all really great Kentucky Derbys and the winners showed what you can't see on paper, heart. 2023 will always be my favorite and I will never forget anything about my experience. I told myself when I was little I would only go to the Kentucky Derby if I had a horse in the race. Thanks to Commonwealth, I got an opportunity to buy in on Mage. My eyes water just a bit every time I see the replay. Thanks Mage for making my Derby dream come true!

Best in my lifetime was Rich Strike 2023. Last to first !!!!!

Rich Strike's 2022 Derby win will stand out in my mind cause his win reminded me of Mine That Bird's win, Mine That Bird surprised everyone, it took 12 years but Richie surprised his rivals, I smile whenever I hear the surprise in Tom Durkin and Larry Collmus's voices when Mine That Bird and Rich Strike took the lead in their respective Derbies. Mystik Dan was similar this year, Larry was so focused on the other horses that he didn't notice Mystik Dan took the lead until they were almost at the finish line.

The 2005 Derby is the most underrated and overlooked KD.

What was so shocking or thrilling about Justify winning?

Imagine the preasure on the people who have to get the starting gate out of the way before the horses come around.

Don’t know if I’d say justify chalk on the lead against a dumpster fire field qualifies as “thrilling”

There have been some good Kentucky Derby Thrills and Other's?? Not so much!! But they are good to watch, anyway!!😊
