1st time I’ve been excited about a Korean car in a while! Last one I really liked was the EV6 GT tbh (and ofc I still like it a lot). I just hope this SantaFe is reliable bc that interior lowkey looks like something Lexus or Mercedes would make, such a nice vehicle!

I like some of the Hyundai/ KIA designs and colors but i dont trust the quality of the brands. When i do research from mechanics, they dont have anything good to say about them. When i buy a car, it has to be able to last at least 10 years or longer without any major repairs.

@@kromahj i only buy Toyotas or mazdas at the moment. You can't buy a different brand with less problems than them. Which definitely can't be said for all the recalls and fire hazards coming out of Hyundais and Kia. They've been bankrupt and bailed out by their government just like GM and Ford here for a reason. Because they all suck and get sued up the butt. 😂

I have a 2013 Santa Fe with over 145k miles on it. The only major work i’ve had to do is shocks, struts/rack and pinion. It’s still humming. You can buy the most reliable car if you don’t take care of it, it’s not gonna matter.

You might want to wait a year for them to work out the kinks, or pick the hybrid which has a completely different transmission

It’s even worse with their new knockoff “lux variant.” The Kia Amnati will go down in history as the most knockoff car in history and set the standard for Hyundai’s persistent copying

Over priced. All new cars are ridiculously over priced. Especially for Hyundai whose cars have major oil consumption issues. We had a 2020 palisade and got rid of it because of the oil consumption. No new car should go thru 3 qts of oil in 4k miles. Junk cars
