Bodywork practice is a form of therapy and as such creating an environment of safety and support will encourage the changes and transformations that our patients seek. And when patients achieve their goals in our care, they refer friends and family by speaking positively about our practices.
Building a bodywork practice takes time, patience, and effort. What are the right places to spend your efforts?

I work in special education and love my job so much. I get to work with some amazing kids and I laugh with them daily while we all grow together. The part about positive change happening best with safety and support resonated with me. We can’t control their hardships outside of school, but we can do our best to make it a great place to be while they’re with us. We did the highly effective people training and my biggest takeaway was to seek first to understand then to be understood. Works in so many industries! Thank you for continued soothing videos whether it’s you in action or explaining business things. You’re an inspiration and great resource to the next generation. So glad I found your channel!

Thank you so much for this beautiful sentiment. You might want to look into H. Steven Glenn, He's an author who talks about early childhood development. It was his work that inspired me so much not only in my business but in my parenting. He first planted the idea for me of positive change happening in safe supportive environments. I'm so appreciative for your attention and immensely pleased that my work is of service to you!!

@@DrRussInYourPocket I’ll take a look thanks! I also had to smile when you said sweet dreams at the end because I was just nodding off. Couldn’t sleep, but you definitely helped take my mind off of what was bugging me so I could rest for a bit. Must feel great to help people in person as well as virtually, even if it’s just a comforting intelligent voice. Thank you and I’ll be enjoying your content for years to come!

This is an excellent video. My Chiropractor is probably in her late 20's or early 30's and she literally does everything that you have explained in this video. I have been going to her for 3 years because im constantly getting ribs knocked out of place and she routinely listens and takes her time on working on me in the most respectfull way. My old Chiropractor was a bad experience, I waited longer in the wait room and he would get me and do his thing in 5 minutes and send me on my way.

Hey Mr Russ, I am aspiring to be a future chiropractor. Saw your video thought it was a fresh take since we don’t see much of this side of chiropractic work. So my question is what was your degree pathway? Trying to figure out the best degrees to get into for the Bachelors then what schools do you recommend for the chiropractor graduate program?
@DrRussInYourPocket
@DrRussInYourPocket 2 ай бұрын
I had somewhat of an interesting and unique pathway. My undergraduate degree was in business with a concentration in hospitality management. I feel like my undergraduate education helped me with the business side. But if I were to advise anyone I would say business is important but so is anatomy physiology. Entering chiropractic School with some background in anatomy and physiology will help you so much. And spend as much time as you can now touching people and getting used to the feel of bodies. Good luck with your education. I hope you'll keep me posted on your progress. And thanks for watching!!
