I’m so glad you said all of that about people who are judging you for being vegan. I happened to click on a video of some middle age guy going off on you for being vegan. It was so mean spirited, I only watched like 2 minutes of it. It did make me wonder how you deal with people like that. I’m glad you have the mentality that you do about it!

i don’t know my specific date i went vegan but it’s been aprox 3 years. i moved from the boston area to rural midwest in that time and sometimes for convenience sake wish i wasn’t but it’s definitely “i wish i had option like the nonvegans” than “i wish i could eat that” since my options are so limited especially for restaurants

So it does really apply to a lot of people, girls can also be bad like that in relationships. Also your advice is really good. It’s the kind of advice I’d give my friends.

Hey ashley, I've been vegan for about 4.5 years now, but I still have two questions on it about non-vegan things that are hard to avoid. I would really like your advice on these things because I still have not figured out what to do about them! 1) Because sugar is often processed with bone char, how do you make sure to avoid that, since sugar is in everything? I know it's quite easy to buy vegan sugar, as I know that Sugar in the Raw and other brands are vegan, but when buying sweet products that already have sugar in them like cookies, biscuits, candy, jam, juice, soda, etc., how do you make sure the sugar used to make those products isn't processed with bone char? 2) Also, fruit and vegetables are often coated with wax to make it shiny and look better. Sometimes this wax is vegan, but other times lac resin wax is used, which comes from the lac insect, and thus isn't vegan. Since produce doesn't often say what it's coated with and obviously, I'm not going to avoid buying all produce entirely, how would I make sure that the produce I'm buying isn't coated with this wax? I would be so happy and grateful if you could give your advice! It would make my day and make being vegan a lot easier! Thanks for your amazing content, Ashley!

The talking stage should be short lived. If it's not progressing, consider him friend zoned and move on. Another key point is to make your intentions known before becoming intimate. So many young ladies get their heartbroken because they become intimate with a guy and it becomes based completely on that activity. If you're looking for a serious relationship, make that known and do not engage in that activity unless both are willing to commit to a relationship.
