That first verse hits me really hard. And by the end of the song, im on the verge of tears. FFDP always has amazing music, weather its the loud, fast and awesome stuff they do. Or the slower, calmer, more emotional stuff they do, they never disappoint me. they're music has helped me so much, and they are truly an inspiration. They will always be my favorite band. FFDP forever✊

I will never abandon this band. When I went through a questionably dark part of my life I listened to FFDP. What people who hate on bands like this is they dont listen to the lyrics. Same man, I was diagnosed with depression after and was prescribed to the most powerful anti depressant and me and her broke up 5 months ago worst 5 months ever and I’m still depressed and on the most powerful anti depressant. I felt like I would never become non depressed but I did believe in her and I knew she was lost and wasn’t herself I even prayed and she said she’ll give me a second chance. So I guess what I’m saying here is stay strong and stay in it, they’ll either come back if you want them too or it’ll get better either way

Sucks when you screwed up and reacted angrily to something that maybe could have been worked out with a level head. I mean, we both expected things to end but not like that. Not with her believing all the lies that were told about me from my ex-fiance. I couldn't take it anymore. She trusted her father more than me and what kills is he believed fucking lies and had some kind of weird control over her. I'll get over it one day but today is not that day... I'll drink to that.

I was at a breaking point tonight. I was just so over all the shit going on in my life and I wanted to die more than anything... i was sitting in a dark room trying to drink my problems away, until this song came up on next video. After it was over I immediately threw away the beer I was drinking and rememberd that I'm not alone. People please. Don't let your demons take you over. Wether you wanna believe it or not, there is somone in your life who cherishes you and would be totally lost without you. There are people who would miss you. There are people who would cry themselves to sleep every night because they don't understand why you had to leave them, and potentially might blame themselves for it. There are people who would give anything just to see you again. People who would do anything to take your place. Anyone who fights with their demons everyday like myself, please don't ever be afraid to reach out and admit you have a problem. It's okay to ask for help. I would rather hear about your problems than here your eulogy. The pain in Ivan's voice can be heard at 2:41. That's exactly the reaction I had at hearing my dad was dying after returning from a 9 month combat deployment. He was taken long before his time by sepsis and I spiraled into a time of insanity after dealing with all the shit I'd had to deal with overseas. Somehow I picked myself up and carried on, thought it was nearly a full year later before I was able to fully function normally again.

This song remides me of when I almost gave up on the woman I have today I was so dark inside my heart but she never gave up on me and that's why we're still together after 12 years and still strong and the darkness still lurks around me cause of pain but I stay strong and stay alive thank u to five finger and there music keeps me looking up instead of down and from all the lies and sins I've done I'm finally seeing better everyday

I Got thrown out of My grandparents because of Anger. I begged for 4 months to let me back in. During the 4 months with my father it moves downhill. Getting a place for at most a week or a month then have to leave because he got fired. Every time we moved the harder it was for us. On that day sitting at the park bench sleeping with our stuff i pull out my fathers phone and listen to this song with the last remaining battery i had. The words were Deep in meaning i cried out in despair. when the song was over i dialed my uncle to persuade them to let me back home begging for my existence. and he saved my life. But now i have not heard from my father in months. Every action has a consequence, and that consequence for coming home was the never ending silence from him. DON'T LET YOUR ANGER CONTROL YOUR LIFE. Those were the worst 4 months of Summer i had in 2020.
