Fantastic install instructions. Fast enough and no extra chat. Wish you had a review of the actual radio SQ. You do cover nicely the options though.

It's funny because it doesn't matter what video you watch of the install of the Stinger they always edit the part where you have to stuff the wires into the dash. It takes two people like 20 minutes and a lot of force.

Hello, I really like the idea of this unit. I have someone who is attempting to install the Heigh 10 unit in my 2012 Mercedes E63 amg. I was using one of those Chinese model android10.25 screens but it was full of errors and cliques. I can't find a kit for my vehicle. I am having a custom install done. I was told by a professional installer that the PAC RC1 would not allow my steering wheel controls to work. I was told by the shop where I purchased the unit that the PAC RC1 would work but it had to be compatible with the Clarion systems otherwise it would not work. The Mercedes original system is a fiber optic network. I am connecting this unit to 2 JL Audio VXI 8 channel DSP amplifiers and a JL Audio HD 1200/1 amplifier to run my 13 inch W7 subwoofer. I am using Morel Virtous speakers 3 ways components in the front and 2 way Morel Nanos components in the rear. I am also using Morel Virtous Integras for my rear center stage and Morel 2 inch for my front center stage. I am hoping this will work in my vehicle. I have been unable to find any resources to help with information for this install. I am in northern California and most professional shops have not installed the Stinger Heigh 10 that I have contacted. I called the Stinger company and they were not helpful either. Any help you could give would be much appreciated. If not wish me a lot of luck. Thanks

Just installed this in my JL, I'm having issues with the usb drive. I've reformatted 3 different drives, 64gb and 16gb, left them plugged in for 24 hours but the kit will not read any of them. Any advice/ ideas?

I used to have the x110 SRA by Alpine, regret selling it but I was wondering if you find this one equal to or better than the Alpine? The Alpine is twice the price. Given the other model is the "Elev8" (elevate), shouldn't "Heigh10" be pronounced "heighten" meaning to raise rather than "high ten" as in a double high-five? Also, does this end up being water resistant like the factory Jeep systems are? Don't own a Jeep but if it isn't, that would suck if you had the top off and it started raining, which I know happens to Jeep owners at times.

I remember a time when there was no standard for color coded wires, You had to test and splice everything.

What they fail to mention is you have to load the latest software intro the PAC. Can’t be done once installed.

Amazing installation by some great dudes. Unfortunately this radio falls on its face with quality control, and quality of parts. The screen gets reallocated washed out when on CarPlay and Android auto. There are no contrast or white balance controls on this radio. The stock unit looks much better. Also the rear view camera video is really low grade. This radio doesn’t have the ability to get the HD signal from it. The screen itself isn’t HD either. In my opinion, for as expensive and time consuming as the installation is, you should be getting top notch components. Shame on Stinger.

My base factory radio has died now three times, on to third radio. Their software update killed it. I like these radios but darn they are expensive. Going to look into getting a radio refund from Jeep cares...worse radio I have ever had
