Amazing video. I have tried everything to try to restore a Sandisk write protected flash drive which corrupted after I used to to make a bootable drive for a motherboard bios update. I tried many different recovery software, Diskpart, Registry editing, you name it but nothing would remove the write protect and format this usb. Brilliant work my friend.

i bought it last 2008 HP 8GB, 2016 it corrupted and never it a successful attempt to recover my USB, i was thinking of disposing it, but decided to keep it for future purposes, until this tutorial came by. Muchosisimas gracias sir the Chipgenius help me a lot on what control part number to search and choose and successfully recovered my USB 8GB again and working fine. Gracias.

I tried all the software found in the ZIP archive corresponding to my windows 10 purchased USB pendrive (based on Phison PS2251-07 chip) It didn't work for me. It seems nothing on earth can remove the write protection on this stick and format it :(

i think its all works only usb drive who format it esily in Ms DOS or disk management use for Usb have no media coz vender and controller number not showing for this software. now explain what is corrupted usb that is who has no vender and no controller number so its software only for normal usb.

I have a fake micro SD but i cant get the real information from ChipGenious because I use an adapter and the information I get is from the adapter instead of the micro SD. Great video any way.
