Yes, this video was very helpful. I recently broke one of the slats and have been working on the blind on the floor, but while watching the video, I think it would be easier to work on it while the blind is hanging.

Excellent presentation. I suggest using a needle and thread to pull the cord through the holes and the bottom hole. This eliminates the removal of the button. I used a pick tool set available at any auto store to remove the knot. After I pulled the cord above the level of the bad slat I removed the bad slat, replaced it with the good slat, then ran the needle and thread through the bottom of the cord. The needle is passed down the entire line of holes including the button, then just pull the cord through using the thread. Similar to running an electrical line through a conduit.

Thank you so much. My kitten tried to hang off my blinds in order to eat the cord (broke the cord but thankfully at the perfect spot to be fixable) just a month before I'm moving out of this place. Unsurprisingly, gluing the slat didn't work.
