Thank you for the tutorial. I love watching your videos. However, I would have preferred to see darker/deeper colors on your eyes to emphasize your points. Everything looks nude and the same. Even the shimmer doesn't stand out. I know people like natural looks, but I think as an educational tool, colors would work better to demonstrate.

I am 79 years old and had surgery on my upper eyelids in December, and it has helped considerably. My left eyelid closed when I was reading in the morning. I still use Clinique eye lifting cream which helps also. The tips about your eyebrows and eyeshadow is helpful.

I completely understand. I will say that once you get used to using them, it's soooo easy. Maybe a video showing looks with the least amount of tools possible would be good. 🤔

Loved this video because I too have hooded eyes - the left more than the right - and loved your tips. However, my eyes are not only hooded but lids are wrinkly so I will need lots of practice to make your tips work for my eyes. Thank you so much as I love your videos and advice. Now - - on to the mascara video for hooded eyes.

My eyes are wrinkly as well. My best advice is to make sure they are well moisturized and don't use too heavy of makeup.

Oh this was fantastic. Before my work hours were cut, I got the 20r curler but wish I had gotten the 18r for my eyeshape. I love the 03 brush but sadly the brush part separated from the handle & I had to glue it back on. Thank you for being here for us !

Hi Bobbie, I have hooded eyes, and small features too, unlike the rest of my body ! 🤣😆 I love rephr’ brushes, and I actually just got an email from them. They were doing a survey on brush sets, and wanted to know the brush I would eliminate from the sets. I like how they involve their customer’s with our input. Yes, but my eyelids were so much drier this winter so I didn’t need it. I may need to start using it again now that it’s summer.

This was really good for me. I have big eyes and pretty good although unruly eye brows but not much space between the eye and eyebrow. And I too have been hooded since birth (61 years!). Never knew it was an issue till KZfaq came along and now I have to camouflage it, lol. I really like a very slight translucent shimmer but find that it transfers up to the "poofy" parts very quickly. I don't think it's the type of product because I've tried many and they all do it. What do you think would help make the shimmer stay put?

Have you tried eye primers? I think the only real problem with hooded eyes is that most makeup tutorials are on women without hooded eyes. We try to recreate the look and it's impossible since our eyes are so different. I honestly think hooded eyes are beautiful!!!

Lol I've never given a rat's patootie about my eyebrows---I've always worn glasses and the frames line up across my brows so I figured it didn't matter. Then I got cataract surgery and only need readers so I threw on some Nyx Thick It Stick It to cover a few greys then could see what a scrappy, weed-whacker- lookin' trainwreck I have going on up there haha!

I had hooded eyes but because it affected my eye sight I had upper blepharoplasty done. Mine was so bad. I hadn’t seen my true eyelid in 20+ years.

I am going to watch this because I have one very bad hooded eye. It’s from a jaw surgery. It drives me crazy. My one eye is like a lazy eye and droopy.

@@MindfulMidlife one thing I was doing was taking my darker outer corner and crease color to far outside. Will keep it inside and see if that works better.

I’m not real sure about doing my eyebrows. You’re very light. Can you give me some advice about them and I have hoodie eyes too thank you for sharing. I just run across the channel and I think it’s great specially for people like me we don’t know how to do their eyebrows or the hooded eyes , thank you
