I am an android user and I tried clearing the data and cache but nothing changed.

It don’t matter how i do, whether it’s on iPhone app (messenger and Facebook) or via google crome on the computer (Facebook). I can’t see “rooms” anywhere. And yes, everything is up to date. Maybe it’s because I’m in Sweden?

Hi Trevor, thank you for your informations there very helpfull. I been having using "create a room" for over 3 years ans It's no lomger showing! IEven after reseting messenger on my desktop window10. How can I get it back? Thank you!

Didn’t work for me. I am up to date with IOS and messenger software. Somewhat frustrated. Any ideas? I have tried deleting apps and reinstalling too.

Here are my thoughts on this not working for me or others. Recently, I changed my security settings on FB because I was getting tired of all the ads and didn’t necessarily want FB in my business. I suppose this might be a punishment for restricting their access in my life.

click on ‘people’ which is located at the bottom. click on ‘stories’ which is located at the top. the create room thing won’t be removed HOWEVER, you would be able to see stories or add to your stories.

Did you make sure to pull down with your finger? Sometimes it's hidden and doesn't show up when you initially go to the screen and you need to swipe down with your finger.
