Gurl you better dip that hair an inch or two from the roots. She stiff. Nothing will happen to your natural hair in hot water. lol. Like, we all fully dip our hair and noting happens. If you get concerned. Wash your braids and leave in a smoothing conditioner.

But your hair is not short so how short are you doing because your real hair is not short my point is you can't go short so remember that before you cut your weave
