If there is a network problem in your android device or if your android device cannot get the network signal and shows no service messages then let us see how to fix the issue. So we will try with some of the basic things at first. What you do is at first open this control center. Then enable this airplane mode. Then wait for few seconds such as 20 to 30 seconds and then again disable this airplane mode. After that what you do is restart your device. After restarting the device, still if you see there is no network in your device then what you do, remove the sim card from the device and then re-insert it again. Sometimes if the sim card is not properly inserted then your device will not be able to find out the network. Also make sure that if you are in a closed room, go outside in open area and check if your device can receive the signal. If by doing all of these basic things also still your device has a network problem then what you do is go to "settings". Go to "connections" here. Go to "Mobile networks" and if you have enabled this option "Data Roaming" make sure to disable this option if you are inside your own country and not in foreign country. After that what you do go to this option "Network Operators" and select this option select manually. The device will look for all the network operators present in your area. This will take up to few minutes. So once your device finds out all the network operators present in your area then you have to choose your network provider. Now after doing this what you do is again remove the sim card from your device and try to check if the sim card will work in another device or not. Now if you find that the sim card works in another android device but not in your device then it means that your device has an issue. In that case what you can do is you can factory reset your device so that everything will reset back to the original settings. But remember when you are doing factory data reset, all the documents and all the applications will be deleted. So if you have any data which is important such as videos or photos then make sure to back it up before doing factory data reset. So if you want to do factory data reset then open "settings". go to this option "General Management" - "Reset" and select this option "Factory data reset". Now this will show you what happens when you do factory data reset. So all data will be erased from your phone including google account settings, downloaded applications, music etc and all of the applications that you have installed will be removed. So if you want to do "Factory data reset" select this option "Reset". After doing all of these steps also still it shows no network signal in your device then might be there is a problem with your sim card. If you have not used your sim card for six, seven months then might be it is already deactivated. In that case you have to contact your network provider to issue a new sim card with the same number.
