Iv same problem, lil long story short iv same yr gt model, failed nct front LHS(was aware of it just chanced my arm) tho when came out them exact lights are up on dash since, I'm told you do the both etc and new 1s gonna cost and install 800€ because they are self stabilising shocks...please any advice, I looks after car well tho lot put into.it already rear 1s only last Xmas 590€ put in

Always start with the cheapest items to replace first. Speed sensors first but make sure they are the totally exact replacements. Plenty of different ones were used in the same MY. Doubt very much it's your shocks

Hi, i have an esp light but only when i first start the car then it goes after 2 sec , and tpms light on , when i check the pressure all the tires are correct, could this be abs sensor ? I have no fault code

how did you know it was the rear right one? I have the same issue, but do not have disgs tool.. I am certain is one of these sensors, not sure which FR, FL, RR, RL??

Yuri Chavez the diagnostic told me which one was faulty. You can do it by trial and error as as soon as you fit a new one she will clear the faults. Make sure you buy one that is for your exact car (particular if it has park assist) they all look the same

Make sure you buy the right sensor for your model. (Particular if your car has park assist) they all look the same. Part is fitted to the back of the wheel hub. Wheel off first or from below if you have ramps. (My cars part was the same as on a Cayenne!)

Having the same issue on my Passat, have changed both the wheel speed sensor and the bearing but it's still not reading 0. I've checked the connection and there is feed going from the abs unit to the sensor. Would this be a abs unit fault?

You definitely got the right sensor. I went through 3 before finding out. Swop the LHS for the RHS and read faults to see if it moves side

Maria-Gracia O'Connell there are quite a few variations of the and wheel speed sensor so make sure the supplier knows what they are talking about. Although my car is a Passat cc the part was originally for a Cayenne due to my car having park assist.

Wheel speed sensor but make sure it's the exact one as there are a few different varieties that all look the same. Mine was the same as what is used in a Cayenne

Its a speed sensor which comes complete with wires. Plugs into s slot at each wheel. Just make sure you get the correct type from your supplier

Rear right wheel speed sensor. Just make sure it's the right one as there are many different variants.

Hey. Hope all is well guys.. i need help, i recently spilled water on the traction control switch.. now all these lights are on.

Would make sure the switch is all dried out and then get all the codes cleared. This should sort it as it was the liquid that caused the error not anything else

So i got them cleared and now traction, abs, air bag and a few other lights are back. Im stuck..

I have the same issue on my newer B8 2017 model. Only comes while driving.. they changed a 'relay', or whatever the name is. And the error is still there. Got it again today.. super annoying. 81.000 km

@@aedobrews3887 Yeah, now they thinking it might be the battery.. but it's while driving and not on start up, and that shit is like 900 euro's. So that kinda sucks :b

Hi Dustin. It turned out to be a wheel speed sensor from a Porche Cayenne that VW stole from the parts bin when adopting the parking assist system. A lot of the better quality car parts suppliers will catch it on just make sure you specify it has park assist

Maria-Gracia O'Connell it really should be throwing a code. Vagcom told me the exact sensor so wasn't that tricky. I just didn't trust it at first. Sounds awful but might be a case of trying each in turn

I have those lights but also the electronic steering light. I have had a sound coming from the right offside front wheel for a while now - not sure if the fault is connected. Halfords looked at it and they just said it's the ECU. Main dealer job

have you had it on a diagnostic yet Stuart? The fault codes on there will give you pointers. I wish I had replaced exactly what the diagnostic said at the outset and saved myself some time

Stuart Athay you can do it by process of elimination. Just make sure you get the right part and sell them out in turn. Once you do the right one the system will clear the fault

Get it on the diagnostic would be the next step and it must have thrown a code for something more serious

I ordered parts and didn't work... looks like there are several that look identical that fit but won't work... cross reference part number on original part!
