Exercise Ball Yoga Ball therapy ball exercise ball, Swiss Ball, balance ball, birth ball, body ball, ball, fitness ball, gym ball, gymnastic ball, physioball, Pilates ball, Pezzi ball, sports ball, stability ball, Swedish ball
As you look around it’s stated that these ball are made of vinyl and kits are sold for them .
They may work .
If you do a search on them the compound used comes back as PVC :
Most stability balls are made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride, commonly called vinyl); very few are made of natural rubber.
To me PVC pipe is not vinyl the ball is BUT I am not a chemist so ???
If yours is natural rubber it will look and feel like a tire inner tube . Most are not .
I tried polyurethane glue - gorilla glue and Permatex Adhesive and Shoo Goo .
All failed to adhere . I was surprised that the Permatex did not work and more so at the Shoo Goo as I have used Shoo Goo on many things and this is my first failure . All three of these just peeled right off and i did give them 18 to 24 hr. in 80 degree heat in the barn to cure .
I really didn’t think it would work but I thought what the hell try it.
Plumbers glue for PVC pipe .
It worked . I did try a think coat the first time and maybe did not give it enough time to cure and it failed.
Use thin coats . I did have to come back with a second thin coat and it took that time .
I have had it under pressure for a couple days and bounced on it . The glue has not failed and Must expand to a point as i put it on when the ball was deflated . I really did not think it would work but here it is .
