I'm not forcing this but I have the most true important information/fact to tell you that you need to believe in. IMPORTANT! READ THIS! I just bought a new Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard has been lagging and not typing sometimes until I picked up the keyboard and moved or bumped it. But what helped completely solve the problem is I moved the wireless USB adaptor up to the top blue USB port which is the fastest and has the most power and that completely solved it after trying many things. I hope this helps someone not have to go through the frustration I was, having changing batteries, updating driver, etc. Thank you TGP!

I really hope this works. A few days ago my laptop just randomly started delaying key response. Whenever I play minecraft or another game the keys would just stick. I could not be holding on a key and it would still be using that key

Oh m8 ! Method 3 worked like a charm ! I had one key (ö) that didn't work for like 6 month now, only if I pushed it like for 3-4sec ant than it started spanning ööööö... (I'm Hungarian so I kinda need it..) I cleand my keyboard took it apart, bought a new one even.. and still the problem wasn't solved. I didn't think it was software.. Now it does work! 1:00, actually the fix of this problem is here in the thing which you did not mention. The upper slider where it says "repeat delay", needs to be set on the far right where it says 'short'. This fixes the problem with the delay while you are holding a backspace when you are trying to delete any sort of text. Anyway, thanks a bunch tho, even if you did not show the proper thing, but you've led me to the solution which i figured out myself.

Adjust Keyboard Settings: You can change the repeat delay and repeat rate settings for your keyboard: Press Windows + R to open the Run command box. Type control panel and click OK. Select Keyboard and adjust the sliders for Repeat rate and Repeat delay.

I followed #1, 2 and 3 and restarted the computer just in case and it worked. I don't know which one was the problem solver but it did its job. Thanks

I thought of all the options to solve my keyboard not responding so I ended up searching for 'slow' keyboard response after accidentally long pressing a key 😭 turns out it was the dang FILTER KEYS. That's why there were only sounds whenever I type but no texts! This vid helped me THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

my problem was the repeat delay. when i press and hold the arrow i want it to repeat quickly, not have to wait. so much faster now. turn the repeat delay to shortest and you can work faster

The first one didn't work as there was no ''filter key'' listed. The second one didn't work as the setting was already set to ''fast''. The third one with the command of - DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth - worked although it took an age to get to 100. ThanQ sir. You are a star!

Damn, I use the wireless Logitech MK keyboard. The last solution really worked. My keyboard was slowing down with a delay every time I tapped a button. I think the problem was with the Bluetooth signal. After updating the driver, it's working smoothly.
