Tips: if you want to buy a new phone I recommend you to buy phone with android 7 or above it How to check it? Goto settings->about phone->search Android version (This step may different for some phone)

Thanks a lot ! I just clicked on clear data after that I got one message there i clicked on 'ok' option restarted....opened youtube now its working fine

It already happened with me when i use Android kitkat version phone then i moved to lollipop and after 1 year again it happen don't do any clear cache solutions only 2 solutions you have 1. If you are a pro Android user install custom rom on your mobile greater than Android 7 2. Buy new phone which have minimum Android 11 from online doesn't matter Go version or Normal Android version.

Thanks for this it looked easy until I tried it. I got as far as Play Store...KZfaq only to be met by the following stement. "Looking for KZfaq? This app won't work on your device". The device is a Sumsung Tab4 running Android 5.0.2 Just like that my device is rendered obsolete, this is a pity as it was working just great. I would always have an audio book downloaded to get me through load shedding so it looks like my options are either a laptop or a more modern device or phone because using the browser on an Android device means you lose the ability to download and watch offline.

Also, this doesn’t work on old devices that don’t get updates anymore. So don’t try it on your 10 year old phone.

Ok, so what I have found is this: Each time you close your apps from the app switcher or reboot your phone you will get that error again on the YT app. To fix this, simply go to app settings and 'clear data' for YT app and it will work again without signing you out. This is annoying and not practical for people who are uncomfortable with looking through settings. What I ended up doing for my friend was making a homescreen shortcut from chrome for youtube website, as this option always works.
