Fix: VMware Bridged Network not Working | Network Bridge Mode Not Working Windows 10 Host

1. Open VMware Workstation PRO and use the ribbon bar at the top to go to Edit - Virtual Network Editor
2. Inside the Virtual Network Editor, click the Change Settings button at the bottom of the screen.
3. Since the issue is most likely occurring because the bridge adapter is confused, let’s make things clearer, by selecting Vmnet0 from the list of virtual networks and changing the Bridge to option from Automatic to the network adapter that you’re currently using (in this case, the wireless network adapter).

After trying the first time I was unable to solve this issue. I clicked reset in the Virtual Network Editor and then, restarted my VM. It now works! Thank you! If it wasnt for this video, I would not of been able to solve this issue.

After tried all steps mentioned here including dhclient couldn't get connect to my vmware. I gave up and opted to host-only vmnet. Btw glad to see it got worked to many people here.

it is not possible to use bridge mode in vmware on a wifi adapter using the certificate WPA2 Enterprise that ensures that your WiFi connection is secure. Because of this you cannot get an ip address from the dhcp server on debian

i choose bridge and my wireless adapter ..after some time my kali machine does not show ip address and connection going to terminated ,then i have restart my machine i will show ip address ..after some time its not showing ip.

It works, however it's not a bridge network. The 3rd Option enabled the NAT network. You can simply disable all other network adapters & keep the NAT one. It'll work.

Awesome video. I just want to add one point that even after following all the steps mentioned if you are still unable to connect to internet using Internet Explorer do the below On IE Click Tools menu-->Internet options-->Security tab-->Internet zone Make sure to uncheck Enable protected mode and restart IE Note: May have to disable (Domain, Private and Public) firewall (On a Windows OS machine)
